Fire Warden Workshop

Has the completion of your risk assessment brought up the need for training for your Fire Wardens? Research into human behaviour and reaction times to alarms conclude that occupants react more quickly when the evacuation is supported by authority figures that give good verbal instructions. Those nominated individuals need adequate fire safety awareness training to carry out the role of a fire representative.

We have already trained the Fire Wardens at Forest Heath District Council, Lafarge Aggregates, Worthing & Southlands Hospital, Marshall-Tufflex, Rebus, Rexal Senate and Broadmoor Hospital and have had excellent feedback.

Our Fire Warden Workshop covers everything your Fire Wardens need to know to carry out their role effectively. The workshop includes the following subjects:

•  Introduction to fire safety
•  Roles/duties of a Fire Warden
•  Good Housekeeping
•  In the event of fire...
•  Understanding extinguishers

We can either hold the workshop on your premises or you can come to us if you only have a few members of staff who require training.

Assuming that you provide the venue and any likely catering requirements the cost starts from £450 for 15 delegates which works out at just £30 per delegate.

If you would like to come to us the cost per delegate is £75.

Every delegate receives a free armband and pocket guide worth £9.14, handouts from the presentation and a certificate.
